Biography

Dr. Vuk Trifunovic completed his specialization in orthopedic surgery with traumatology in Germany. After ten years of training in Germany, he is now the director of International Orthopedics hospital in Belgrade. Dr. Trifunovic's primary specialty is sports orthopedics, arthroscopic surgical treatment, and joint care for the shoulder and knee.

After completing his basic studies and a six-month internship at the Department of Cardiac Surgery at the Military Medical Academy, he decided to leave Serbia and pursue further medical training in Germany. Dr. Vuk Trifunovic’s training in Germany lasted ten years (2014-2024). He completed the aforementioned specialization at the renowned Rummelsberg Orthopedic Hospital in Schwarzenbruck, near Nuremberg. As of January 1, 2025, he is the director of the specialized orthopedic hospital “International Orthopedics,” which focuses exclusively on surgical orthopedics and traumatology, working with top German and Serbian experts in orthopedics, traumatology, spinal surgery, and oncological orthopedics.

Dr. Trifunovic primarily focuses on surgical treatment in the field of arthroscopic sports orthopedics as well as hip and knee endoprosthetics:
